1. 2012/04～ 3年次に就職活動の準備を始めるにあたって、演習Ⅰの時間に就職・キャリア支援課を訪問したり、ゼミサポを受講させ、早い段階で就職に対する意識づけを行っている。
■ 教育、研究、社会貢献活動の方針
1. (1) 教育活動の方針：情報化やIT化社会が進む現在、データ分析の基礎や統計的方法を身につけておくことは、従来にも増して重要となっている。実際のデータに触れ、それを分析することは経済学を学び、理解する上で大きな助けになると考えられる。また、統計学の知識は経済だけでなく色々な分野に対しても汎用性が高く、社会に出ても役立つものである。実学的にも役に立つ方法論を学べるように実際のデータに触れながら応用力を鍛えていく。
2. (2) 研究活動の方針：統計学や計量経済学の最新理論を実証分析に応用し、現実のデータに適用する際の問題点を検討していく。
3. (3) 社会貢献活動の方針：研究活動で得た知識を実学的な方面で活かせるように社会へ還元していきたいと考えている。データの整理や見せ方といった数字に基づく根拠を見いだせるような問題解決力の向上といった観点からサポートを行う。
