概要 | <p>This paper presents the results of experiments on a non-contact active feedback control to suppress a flow-induced sheet flutter which is clamped upper side in a passage without wall. The sheet flutter is suppressed by fluid injection and suction from a nozzle. This nozzle is combined with a loud speaker, and they work as an actuator. In this experiment, the actuator is set at midstream and downstream of the passage, and the direction of injection can be changed. Moreover, the gap between the nozzle and the sheet can be also changed. The actuator is driven by a control signal with changing the controller phase-shift between the sheet displacement and the injection. This study clarified that the optimum control phase and evaluate the critical velocity experimentally. Lastly, the suppression mechanism is discussed based on the result of a visualizing of flow experiment. The flutter is suppressed by changing the air flow. As a result, the critical flow velocity increases by about 40%.</p> |
