| 概要 | This three-hour tutorial covers networked control and remote operation in industrial systems. It explains how communication problems̶such as delay, packet loss, and jitter̶can degrade performance, stability, and safety. Rather than treating communication and control separately, the tutorial uses a co-design approach. It offers a step-by-step workflow linking performance needs with design choices in both areas. Topics include:
(1) ways to model and assess how network issues affect control systems; (2) procedures for sharing resources between communication and control, such as redundancy, information flow, update rates, and compensation strategies, to meet safety and performance needs; and (3) extensions to multi-agent and networked robotics systems. |
