概要 In this dissertation, the candidate proposes a new method for identifying unknown physical parameters for establishing mathematical models which are reqired in system controls. As an investigation tools for the mechanically flexible structure a cantilevered beam is considered and the related three parameters -- the modulus of elasticity (or Young's modulus) and the air and structual damping coefficients -- are taken as unknown parameters to be identified. Then, our problem is to identify these these three physical parameters simultaneously from the real measurement data on the vibration of the beam. This problem to construct the identification algorithm using real data which are acquired in the non-destructive manner will be called the "soft sensor" in this dissertation as contrasted with such a method called the hard sensor which measures the subjective directory.
