概要 Warren Buffett, philanthropist, the chairman and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway traditionally invested mainly for the S&P Blue Chip such as Apple, American Express, Bank of America, and Coca-Cola, etc. His propensity for the investment has been focusing on long-term, stabilized income assured by their strategy which secure free cash flow. However, in the summer of 2020, he announced that his new share of the investment goes to “exotic” Japan. He bought the shares in Itochu, Mitsubishi, Mitsui, Sumitomo and Marubeni for each 5% stock. Is this a right decision? I would examine the financial performance and review the business strategy of these 5 Sogo Shosha.
