概要 | In the high-temperature plasma experiments, a lot of videos containing plasma emission phenomenon are obtained. The future emission states of plasma should be estimated for sustaining the plasma. This study proposes a method for estimating plasma-emission transitions from plasma-emission videos using Gaussian mixture models (GMM) and hidden Markov model (HMM). The proposed method retrieves similar videos and learns model parameters from them. The anticipated plasma-emission transitions are estimated by using the state transition probabilities from the generated model. Experimental results confirm that the proposed methods are effective in identifying similar plasma videos and in estimating probable future states of the plasma. |
