概要 | In this paper, the influence of the elasticity of the support structure on the vibration characteristics and occurrence conditions of the self-excited vibration is examined. In the analysis, the unsteady fluid force is calculated based on the basic equation of a two-dimensional leakage-flow between the plate and the support structure surface. The basic equation considers the effect of air compressibility. Moreover, the equation of continuous air flow in the chamber includes the effect of air compressibility. The characteristic equation on the stability of the system is derived from the plate and the support structure motion coupled with the unsteady fluid force. The experiment consists of a floating plate and a support structure, where the vibration characteristics are examined. The influence of elasticity of the support structure on the vibration characteristics and occurrence conditions of the self-excited vibration are clarified comparing the analysis with experiments. |
