概要	This paper tries to derive fundamental movements, which are considered to be important for transmitting traditional skills, from the movement of a worker or a player. The movement is represented with a sequence of the sum of the speeds of the parts of a body. The fundamental one is captured as similar changes of the speeds appearing everywhere. The fundamental movements are obtained by focusing on pauses. Subsequences are cut out from the whole sequence. The similarity of two subsequences is judged in the frequency domain. It is experimentally shown that the fundamental movements can easily be obtained by adjusting several parameters of the similarity test. © 2013 IEEE.
