概要 | Deuterium ion-driven permeation in tungsten under mixed deuterium and carbon irradiation at 1 keV was studied to investigate the incident flux dependency on deuterium permeation. Permeation experiments were performed at three temperatures (Tw = 610 K, 710 K, 850 K) under incident flux of 1019-1020-m 2 s 1. The variation of incident flux leads to similar temperature-dependent increase in steady-state deuterium permeation flux under mixed deuterium and carbon irradiation as observed in previous study. It is also found that the rise in permeation at high temperature larger than 800 K cannot be explained by changes in front diffusivity of W-C mixed layer. Also, the incident flux dependency in deuterium permeation cannot be explained only by the hydrogen transport theory of Doyle and Brice. It is deducted that a mixed deuterium and carbon irradiation could cause an oversaturation state of deuterium in tungsten at temperature lower than 700 K. © 2013 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved. |
