概要 | Deuterium desorption parameter from tungsten surface was determined from ion driven permeation experiments. The concentrations at the upstream and downstream subsurface, as well as at the ion range was determined by detailed flux balance. At T> 850 K, the concentration profile is rather flat throughout the specimen depth and the overall concentration increases as temperature increases from 850 to 1000 K. In contrast, at T< 850 K, the concentration profile becomes highly peaked and increases as temperature is decreased. The two part rise in the permeation flux can qualitatively be explained by trapping effects within the implantation zone while the W surface was seen to strongly trap at T< 700 K. © 2013 Elsevier B.V.
